  • Revolutionized Customer Facing Technologies: Partnered closely with business and technology units to create and implement a data-driven roadmap of modernization and a solution that paid for itself by generating a $1.6M annual run rate savings.

  • Delivers boutique technology management services that align with customers’ organizational needs, including project management, program management, project portfolio management, strategic planning, governance, audit preparation, social media management, business alignment, business continuity planning, and interim CIO services.

FIRST CHOICE BANK / FIRST CHOICE LOAN SERVICES

2013 - 2017

  • Recruited to create and implement the strategy to transform, and stabilize the Department of Information Technology for First Choice Bank and Loan Services while reducing costs.

  • Lead all strategic technology initiatives: In close partnership with business leaders, ensured technology was closely aligned with business objectives and drove change for IT Systems.

  • Developed and maintained IT governance policies, procedures, and internal controls: With a focus on cybersecurity and in strong partnership with Audit and Compliance, drastically improved the Bank’s risk profile based upon independent findings of internal and external audit. ensuring that all technology was reliable, scalable, and secure.

  • Responsible for all cybersecurity initiatives. 

  • Utilized the NIST Cybersecurity Framework to implement Information Security Controls (NIST SP800-53, ISO27001) and associated security policies which improved the maturity model by 50% in 6 months.

  • Achieved the stability and availability of +99.99% by implementing industry best practices, aligned with tracking meaningful KPIs, proactive maintenance, monitoring, and redundancy of all technology platforms.

  • Created a culture of innovation, execution, and excellence: My teams embraced a culture of relentless improvement where the continuous release of product enhancements delivered significant value.

  • Reduced technology costs by ~25% YOY by prioritizing IT initiatives, strictly managing IT solutions for the business, renegotiating vendor contracts and eliminating waste.

  • Awarded Top Tech-Savvy Lender and Servicer (September 2013) and Exceptional Achievement in Compliance Automation (March 2016) by Ellie Mae.

  • Led global teams that delivered complex solutions: Modernized technology across 53 global pharmaceutical manufacturing sites in North American and EMEA, within budget and ahead of schedule.

  • Created new sales opportunities within the existing program and context of the RFP process by guiding the Sales and Bid Teams and Customer on appropriate services that could drive additional business benefits. 

  • Responsible for working with Verizon Account Teams, Engineering, Program Management Teams, Commercial and Legal teams and directly with the client in order to design, cost, document and present offered solutions.

  • Oversaw all operations of University networking and telecommunications platforms by managing a cross-functional team to support network operations, production support, project management, implementations, security, telephony and billing for all schools of the University and the administration.

  • Spearheaded the upgrade and transformation of all legacy technology infrastructures, which stabilized the network and positioned the organization for disaster recovery and future expansion.

  • Stability and modernization: Lead a team that stabilized the university’s IT infrastructure and deployed wireless connectivity across 100% of the University securely.
